Dr. Mohd Nazri is a Senior Lecturer in the Cluster of Business Management, Open University Malaysia (OUM). He is also a member of Chartered Institute of Marketing (Malaysia), an affiliate member of Association of Plantation Alumni UiTM Malaysia and a Certified Trainer for Entrepreneurship Development Program by The Ministry of Education and The Malaysian Academy of SME & Entrepreneurship Development (MASMED). Prior to joining OUM, he was the Deputy Dean at the Faculty of Business, Multimedia University (2016-2019) and Head of Entrepreneurship Development and Young Entrepreneurship Development Program (Tunas Mekar) at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Pahang and Melaka (2008-2015). He is very active in consultation activities and self- development program in both locally and abroad. Since 1991, he has shared his skills and thoughts in over 500 workshops and seminars. He started his education in the field of civil engineering and wood technology. However, due to his passion and interest towards business and education, he shifted his direction in 2002. He obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (Marketing) with Honours from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Master of Business Administration (Multimedia Marketing) and PhD (Marketing Management) from Multimedia University, Malaysia. He is the recipient of a full-fledge scholarship from the Public Service Department and the Ministry of Higher Education in Malaysia. At present, he is an affiliate consultant to the government agencies and NGOs such as FELDA, Malay Chamber of Commerce, Ministry of Education, Melaka Islamic Religion Council and Negeri Sembilan Islamic Religion Council for the development of strategic management and planning. He has published and reviewed a number of internationally refereed conference papers, journal articles and books. He also won a number of awards in international conferences such as Best Paper Award and Best Presenter Award. Having had a vast range of working experiences with both private and public sector, he was awarded a research grant to study the socio economic development of people in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam in 2015. Apart from that, he is also very active in sharing his views about business, education and self-development in newspapers, TV and radio programs. Dr Mohd Nazri is very concern about environment. Due to that reason, he is currently focusing his research interest in the area of green marketing, digital marketing and consumerism.
